We’re thrilled to welcome Eliza Hoppe to the Genshare team as our new Chief People Officer.
Eliza is a highly accomplished executive with over 14 years of experience leading people and culture, and sales and marketing functions for a market-leading building services organisation. As a Board member, she played a pivotal role in setting and executing the company’s strategic direction, culminating in a successful sale in 2023, when the business had grown to over four thousand employees. Earlier in her career, Eliza spent more than eight years in senior leadership roles across executive search and recruitment, where she developed deep expertise in talent acquisition and leadership advisory.
As Chief People officer, Eliza will spearhead our People team, leading strategy and execution. This includes growing and engaging our talent bench, developing a People function to support network businesses, and providing HR services and expertise.
Eliza said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining Genshare at such a pivotal stage of its growth. There is a significant opportunity to elevate the People function, not just within Genshare itself, but across the broader network of businesses, and to position it as a true driver of performance and long-term value. Building strong leadership, culture and capability is fundamental to our success, and I’m looking forward to ensuring the People strategy is deeply aligned with commercial outcomes.”
Genshare founder and CEO Steve Hibberd said: “Eliza brings a rare combination of people leadership and commercial expertise. She has a deep understanding of the environment we operate in, and direct experience working in businesses like those in our network. We believe our people and leadership capability represents both our greatest opportunity, as well as our greatest risk. But under Eliza’s stewardship, we’re confident it will be a powerful driver of performance, culture and growth across the network.”
We couldn’t be more excited about Eliza taking on this critical role at Genshare as we embark on a new phase of growth.
